Grow as a disciple of Christ by studying His Word!

Spiritual growth doesn't happen by accident!

At Wilmer, we believe there is an expectation of spiritual growth in the life of every believer. We exist to make disciples!

We follow Jesus’ model by placing people who desire to grow in relational environments with intentional leaders who will walk with them on their faith journey.

On Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m., people all across our campus meet together to study God's Word. It's one of the main ways we fulfill our mission to make disciples.

For Children and Students

Sunday School classes for children and students are organized by age group. You can click the Sunday School Directory button to see where Elementary, Middle, and High School classes meet.

For Adults

For adults, we have many Sunday School classes to choose from. Some are for men only or women only, some are for young married couples, and some are for adults of all ages. Use the Sunday School Directory button to explore our classes and find a place where you can study the Bible with others.
Still unsure of where to go? Don't worry! On Sundays, look for our Welcome Team (wearing red polos) at each entrance. They will be happy to help you figure out what class is right for you!

Wednesdays

For Preschoolers & Kids
At 6:30 p.m. in the Kids Building, Preschoolers and Kids (1st-5th grade) are invited to Bible study with their peers, where they will review material they learned about on Sunday.
For Students
6th - 12th grades meet in the Youth Building at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and 6:30 p.m. for worship and teaching.
For Adults

There are four different options for adult Bible study classes on Wednesday nights.

At 6:30, our College and Career adults meet upstairs in the Christian Life Center in Billy Duren's Sunday School classroom, our men meet to study in the College and Career classroom, our women hold a study in the back hallway of the Sanctuary (Bob Busby's classroom), and there is a prayer meeting that takes place in the Chapel.

Life Groups

What are Life Groups?

Life Groups are small groups of 6-10 adults who meet together weekly with the goal of helping each other grow spiritually, to the point they can move out of the group and disciple others. We have groups for couples, men, and women. LifeGroups typically meet in the homes of the group leaders.

  • We want you to be committed to attending your Life Group.
  • Transparency, accountability, and being pushed out of your comfort zone should be expected
  • Eventually, the goal is for you to be equipped to disciple other believers.
