Glasscock Memorial Park

A group of people stand in a circle outdoors, holding hands and bowing their heads in prayer. Many wear shirts with a Bible verse on the back.

Glasscock Memorial Park was gifted to Wilmer Baptist Church in 2019.

Since then, the park has become a gathering place for both Wilmer Baptist and the greater Wilmer Community. Throughout the year, Glasscock Memorial Park hosts various events ranging from seasonal celebrations, back-to-school parties, sports seasons, and even a Live Nativity. A key component to each of these events is food! Glasscock Memorial Park loves to feed those who come with the intention of not only providing food but offering folks "the bread of Life".

Glasscock Memorial Park changed its previous name from Wilmer Park to honor the life and legacy of Brother Terry Glasscock. Brother Terry was a pillar within the Wilmer community. One of his passions was this very park, and it's use to love the people of Wilmer and to share Christ with them.

We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!!
